Summary: The study successfully conducted a C-13-Spirulina platensis GEBT in healthy children, finding that females had a slower rate of gastric emptying than males and children with a higher BMI had slower rates compared to normally weighted children. Additionally, children aged 6-9 had a later time to reach maximum gastric emptying rate compared to older children. The agreement between scintigraphic and GEBT measurements was moderate.
