Dynamics of charge-imbalance-resolved entanglement negativity after a quench in a free-fermion model

Gilles Parez et al.

Summary: The discussion focuses on the impact of global internal symmetry on entanglement properties in quantum many-body systems, and examines the non-equilibrium state of the system through the study of dynamics of charge-imbalance entanglement and charged Renyi logarithmic negativities. The research findings suggest that under specific conditions, the entanglement exhibits equipartition behavior.

Symmetry-resolved dynamical purification in synthetic quantum matter

Vittorio Vitale et al.

Summary: A study shows that symmetry-resolved information spreading is inhibited by the competition of coherent and incoherent dynamics in the presence of continuous symmetries and under ubiquitous experimental conditions. The entropy decreases as a function of time in certain quantum number sectors, indicating dynamical purification. Dynamical purification bridges between two distinct short and intermediate time regimes, characterized by log-volume and log-area entropy laws.

Symmetry-resolved entanglement in a long-range free-fermion chain

Filiberto Ares et al.

Summary: This study investigates the symmetry resolution of entanglement in the presence of long-range couplings. By studying the symmetry-resolved entanglement entropy in a one-dimensional fermionic chain, we find that entanglement equipartition still holds in large subsystems, but the order of its breaking and its dependence on hopping amplitudes differ from the short-range counterpart.

Symmetry-Resolved Entanglement Entropy in Critical Free-Fermion Chains

Nick G. Jones

Summary: The paper explores the scaling properties of symmetry-resolved Renyi entanglement entropy in a family of critical free-fermion chains and calculates the leading terms in the large L asymptotic expansion. The exponent x was found to correspond to the expectation from CFT analysis, showing good agreement with the expansion over CFT operators.

Boundary effects on symmetry resolved entanglement

Riccarda Bonsignori et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the symmetry resolved entanglement entropies in one-dimensional systems with boundaries, providing general results for conformal invariant theories. Exact formulas for charged and symmetry resolved entropies are derived based on spectra of Toeplitz+Hankel matrices. The saddle-point approximation introduces algebraic corrections to the scaling particularly severe in systems with boundaries.

Generalized-hydrodynamic approach to inhomogeneous quenches: correlations, entanglement and quantum effects

Vincenzo Alba et al.

Summary: This paper provides a pedagogical introduction to the generalized hydrodynamic approach in inhomogeneous quenches in integrable many-body quantum systems, focusing on applications to bipartitioning protocols and trap quenches. Exact results for time-dependent correlation functions and entanglement evolution are discussed, as well as the theory's range of applicability, open questions, and future directions.

Symmetry-resolved entanglement detection using partial transpose moments

Antoine Neven et al.

Summary: We present a set of experimentally accessible conditions for detecting entanglement in mixed states, involving comparing moments of the partially transposed density operator up to a certain order, and find that the union of all moment inequalities can reproduce the Peres-Horodecki criterion. Our studies show that the first four conditions are already reliable in detecting mixed state entanglement in various quantum architectures, and exploiting symmetries can further enhance detection capabilities. We also demonstrate how to estimate moment inequalities based on local random measurements of single state copies and derive statistically sound confidence intervals as the number of measurements increases. Our analysis includes the experimentally relevant situation of drifting sources, i.e. non-identical, but independent, state copies.

Exact quench dynamics of symmetry resolved entanglement in a free fermion chain

Gilles Parez et al.

Summary: Studying the entanglement dynamics is crucial for understanding the behavior of many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium. This study focuses on the time evolution of symmetry resolved entanglement in free fermion systems, with the definition and quantification of symmetry resolved mutual information. The behavior of charged entropies can be quantitatively understood in the framework of the quasiparticle picture for the spreading of entanglement.
