Microstructure Evolution and Improved Permeability of Ceramic Waste-Based Bricks

Summary: This paper introduces the method of preparing all-solid-waste-based permeable bricks using waste ceramic materials, magnesium slag, and coal gangue, and evaluates their mechanical properties and water permeability. It is found that the all-solid-waste-based permeable bricks have excellent water permeability, compressive strength, and apparent porosity, which is attributed to the porous microstructure and tight adhesive force formed at a high sintering temperature.

Effects of A/B-Site Co-Doping on Microstructure and Dielectric Thermal Stability of AgNbO3 Ceramics

Summary: AgNbO3-based lead-free ceramics show enhanced dielectric thermal stability when co-doped with Bi3+, Zn2+, and Ti4+ via a solid-state reaction under oxygen flow. The microstructure, dielectric properties, and impedance spectra were systematically characterized, demonstrating stable dielectric properties for potential use in electronic devices.
