Twenty Vertex model and domino tilings of the Aztec triangle

Philippe Di Francesco

Summary: The study shows that the number of configurations of the 20 Vertex model is equal to the number of domino tilings of Aztec-like triangles, based on the integrability of the model and its connection to other models. The result confirms a previous conjecture and extends the enumeration to include refinements of both numbers.

Factorization in the multirefined tangent method

Bryan Debin et al.

Summary: When applying the tangent method to statistical systems displaying the arctic curve phenomenon, it is assumed that modifying the most external path does not impact the arctic curve. By observing a factorization property, it is strengthened and made more concrete. Additionally, knowing the shape of the arctic curve allows for the prediction of the asymptotic value of refined partition functions.

Arctic Curves Phenomena for Bounded Lecture Hall Tableaux

Sylvie Corteel et al.

Summary: This paper studies the asymptotic behavior of bounded lecture hall tableaux in the study of multivariate little q-Jacobi polynomials, using two combinatorial models. The tangent method is used to investigate the arctic curve in a model of non-intersecting lattice paths, and an ansatz is applied to guess the asymptotics of the inverse of the Kasteleyn in the dimer model, confirming the arctic curve computed with the tangent method.

Limit Shapes for the Asymmetric Five Vertex Model

Jan de Gier et al.

Summary: The study computes the free energy and surface tension function for the five-vertex model, and provides a variational principle for limit shapes in this setting. It shows that the resulting Euler-Lagrange equation can be integrated to give limit shapes parameterized by analytic functions.

Arctic curves of the reflecting boundary six vertex and of the twenty vertex models

Philippe Di Francesco

Summary: The tangent method of Colomo and Sportiello was applied to predict the arctic curves of the six vertex model with reflecting boundary and the related twenty vertex model with suitable domain wall boundary conditions on a quadrangle, both in their disordered phase.
