Hybrid nanofluid flow towards a stagnation point on an exponentially stretching/shrinking vertical sheet with buoyancy effects

Iskandar Waini et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the flow of a hybrid nanofluid towards a stagnation point on an exponentially stretching/shrinking vertical sheet with buoyancy effects. The authors found that the heat transfer rate is higher for the Al2O3-Cu/water hybrid nanofluid compared to Cu/water nanofluid, and observed non-uniqueness of solutions for certain physical parameters. Additionally, bifurcation of solutions was noticed in the downward buoyant force and shrinking regions.

Flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid induced by an exponentially stretching/shrinking curved surface

Nur Syahirah Wahid et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow and heat transfer of hybrid nanofluid induced by an exponentially permeable stretching/shrinking curved surface. It is found that the boundary layer separation is deferred as copper volume fraction and curvature parameters increase, and the presence of hybrid nanofluid enhances velocity and temperature profiles.

Agrawal flow of a hybrid nanofluid over a shrinking disk

Iskandar Waini et al.

Summary: The study investigates the impact of hybrid nanoparticles on flow and heat transfer over a stretching/shrinking disk. It reveals that dual solutions are possible for both shrinking and stretching cases, while a unique solution exists for the static surface. Moreover, the skin friction coefficient is optimal on the static surface, and heat transfer rate increases with the addition of hybrid nanoparticles.

Viscous dissipation and MHD hybrid nanofluid flow towards an exponentially stretching/shrinking surface

N. A. Zainal et al.

Summary: This study investigates the heat transfer performance of Al2O3-Cu/H2O in the magnetohydrodynamics stagnation point flow towards an exponentially stretching/shrinking surface with consideration of viscous dissipation effect. The findings reveal that the addition of nanoparticles increases the coefficient of skin friction and the local Nusselt number, while the viscous dissipation effect causes an increase in the thermal state of the fluid.

Summary: This study analyzed the heat and mass transport of Copper and Copper oxide water nanoparticles suspended in nanofluid on a non-linear radially stretching surface, considering the impacts of thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, heat source/sink, variable chemical reaction, and velocity slip in boundary conditions. The higher order equations were transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations, and solutions were sought using the Keller Box technique.

Convective Heat Transfer of a Hybrid Nanofluid over a Nonlinearly Stretching Surface with Radiation Effect

Emad H. Aly et al.

Summary: This study investigated the flow of hybrid nanofluid (copper-titanium dioxide/water) over a nonlinear stretching surface with suction and radiation effects. The governing equations were transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations and solved using a numerical technique. The results showed that the mass flux parameter slowed down velocity and decreased temperature, while increasing the stretching parameter led to opposite effects on velocity and temperature. Additionally, the radiation parameter was found to control the thermal boundary layer effectively, and increasing the temperature parameter resulted in decreased temperature.
