Dielectric Permittivity Model for Polymer-Filler Composite Materials by the Example of Ni- and Graphite-Filled Composites for High-Frequency Absorbing Coatings

Artem Prokopchuk et al.

Summary: The paper proposes the use of pliable highly microwave radiation absorbing composite materials based on polymers or rubbers filled with conductive and magnetic fillers to suppress unnecessary radio-electronic noise and protect electronic devices from electromagnetic interference. As electronic devices and systems are expanding to the millimeter wave range, the absorption and shielding capabilities of composites should be evaluated for increasing operating frequency. This study focuses on composites filled with high-loss dielectric fillers, where absorption significantly increases as frequency rises, allowing for maximum frequency selective absorption due to electromagnetic and electromechanical resonances.

Ternary 3D reduced graphene oxide/Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/polyindole nanocomposite for supercapacitor electrode application

Anjitha Thadathil et al.

Summary: A ternary 3D reduced graphene oxide/Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/polyindole nanocomposite was prepared using a facile two-step strategy and applied as an electrode material for supercapacitors. The hybrid material exhibited high specific capacitance, rate stability, and cycling stability, making it promising for supercapacitor applications. Additionally, an asymmetric supercapacitor using this hybrid material demonstrated significant energy density and stability after 2000 cycles.
