Summary: In this study, a promising suspended core channel waveguide design is proposed for ultra-broadband supercontinuum generation in the mid-infrared, with predicted coverage range and power requirements provided. Waveguide structural imperfections are analyzed, and coherence of the obtained supercontinuum coverage is tested and achieved from the proposed design.
