Summary: In Brazilian floodplains, a new tribe, two new genera, and three new species were described. One genus, Brasilodopsis, was found in both sexual and asexual populations, with one species having a wide distribution and another species found only in the Amazon floodplain. Another new genus, Paranadopsis, was found in asexual populations in the Upper Parana River floodplain, exhibiting unique morphological characteristics that led to the creation of a new tribe within the Cypridopsinae subfamily.
