Radiolabeling of a polypeptide polymer for intratumoral delivery of emitter, 225Ac, and emitter, 177Lu

Vladimir Shalgunov et al.

Summary: In this study, TCO-modified pGlu polymers were successfully labeled with alpha- and beta-emitting radionuclides with acceptable radiochemical yields (RCYs). The DOTA-modified Tzs efficiently chelated Lu-177, while the macropa-modified Tz showed quantitative chelation for Ac-225. The potential of pGlu as a vehicle for alpha- and beta-radiotherapy of tumors was demonstrated, along with the usefulness of Tz ligation for indirect radiolabeling.

Development of HPLC-CAD stability indicating assay method for polyethylene glycol-conjugated phospholipid (DMPE-PEG 2000) and identification of its degradation products

Moolchand Kurmi et al.

Summary: The study presents a liquid chromatographic method for quantifying DMPE-PEG 2000, an important component of lipid-based nanoparticles, and investigates its degradation products. The method was validated for precision, linearity, sensitivity, solution stability and robustness, demonstrating good intra-day precision, inter-day precision, sensitivity, and linearity in the range from 210 μg/mL to 390 μg/mL. The stability of DMPE-PEG 2000 under different stress and storage conditions was also evaluated, with degradation products identified and a tentative pathway proposed.

Cashew Gum Polysaccharide Nanoparticles Grafted with Polypropylene Glycol as Carriers for Diclofenac Sodium

Cassio Nazareno Silva da Silva et al.

Summary: The study focused on developing cashew gum polysaccharide nanoparticles grafted with polypropylene glycol as carriers for diclofenac sodium. The optimized formulation showed efficient entrapment of diclofenac and sustained release for up to 68 hours. The physicochemical characterization indicated that the nanoparticles have a globular shape with smooth surfaces and are effective in loading and releasing drugs with similar structures to diclofenac sodium.
