Facile synthesis of NiCo2O4 nanostructure with enhanced electrochemical performance for supercapacitor application

Manpreet Kaur et al.

Summary: This study reports the fabrication of grain-like nanostructures of NiCo2O4 using a facile Co-precipitation method, which showed high specific capacitance of 1860 F/g at a current density of 1 A/g and good cycle stability of 75% after 1500 cycles. The as-synthesized NiCo2O4 exhibited a single cubic phase with the Fd3m space group, as confirmed by XRD, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy, and the grain-like nanostructured morphology was revealed by SEM.
