Event-triggered control for discrete-time multi-agent average consensus

Rajiv Kumar Mishra et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the average consensus problem for multi-agent systems in the discrete-time domain. Three triggering-based control protocols are developed to alleviate communication and computational burden and ensure network convergence. Numerical simulations validate the efficacy of the proposed algorithms.

Event-Triggered Stabilizing Bit Rate Conditions for an n-Dimensional Linear System With i.i.d. Feedback Dropouts

Yuan Liu et al.

Summary: This article proposes a method to maintain the stability of an n-dimensional linear time-invariant system transmitting feedback packets through a digital communication network using a periodic event-triggering strategy. The strategy can achieve mean square stability at a lower bit rate and is robust to process noise. Stabilizing bit rate conditions are determined by delays, dropout rate, and system eigenvalues, but do not depend on process noise. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed stabilizing bit rate conditions.
