Slip flow of Casson-Maxwell nanofluid confined through stretchable disks

R. J. P. Gowda et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow of incompressible electrically conducting Casson-Maxwell fluid confined between two uniformly stretchable disks, implementing the Buongiorno nanofluid model. The study examines the effects of physical parameters on velocity, thermal, and concentration fields through numerical solutions. The findings show that different parameters have varying degrees of influence on the flow characteristics, with the Maxwell liquid being more sensitive to Lorentz force compared to Casson liquid.

Impacts of Stefan blowing and mass convention on flow of Maxwell nanofluid of variable thermal conductivity about a rotating disk

F. Mabood et al.

Summary: This study investigates the incompressible hydromagnetic flow of Maxwell nanofluid driven by a stretchable rotating disk. By utilizing the Buongiorno model and Cattaneo-Christov double-diffusive theory, as well as temperature dependent thermal conductivity, the constitutive equations are established. The governing equations are influenced by Stefan blowing and mass convection effects, with numerical results indicating trends such as decreased radial curves with increasing Deborah number and temperature field decline due to larger thermal relaxation time parameters.

Exploring the impact of magnetic dipole on the radiative nanofluid flow over a stretching sheet by means of KKL model

Manish Anand

Summary: This study focuses on the rheological properties of nanofluids using the Koo-Kleinstreuer-Li model. The numerical results show that increasing the radiation parameter improves the thermal profile, while increasing the Biot number enhances the thermal boundary layer region. Additionally, an increase in the space-dependent internal heat sink/source parameter deteriorates the rate of heat transfer.

Impact of magnetic dipole on thermophoretic particle deposition in the flow of Maxwell fluid over a stretching sheet

R. Naveen Kumar et al.

Summary: The impact of thermophoretic particle deposition and magnetic dipole in the flow of Maxwell liquid over a stretching sheet is explored in this analysis. The modelling equations are transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations, which are then numerically solved using the Runge Kutta Fehlberg 45 process with shooting technique. The study discusses the effects of relevant parameters on flow fields, heat and mass transfer, and various other parameters using graphical representations.

Radiative heat transfer of second grade nanofluid flow past a porous flat surface: a single-phase mathematical model

Wasim Jamshed et al.

Summary: The study investigates the flow and heat transfer properties of nanofluids on a slippery surface, considering radiation, heat source, porous medium, and viscous dissipation effects. The partial differential equations are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations and solved using a shooting numerical scheme. The study shows that the heat transfer rate of Cu-EO nanofluids increases more compared to Al2O3-EO nanofluids, with parameters having a significant impact on heat transfer close to the wall.
