Investigating catalytic performance of Ag/Ce promoted Fe/Al2O3 catalyst in the CO hydrogenation process: Selectivity modeling and optimization using response surface methodology

Hanieh Zarin Torang et al.

Summary: This study focused on the modeling and selectivity of a mesoporous alumina-supported Fe-Ag-Ce CO hydrogenation catalyst in a fixed-bed microreactor under various operating conditions. It was found that the simultaneous effects of cerium and silver promoters could enhance the olefin selectivity of the catalyst. Optimization of operating conditions led to the maximum desired product selectivity.
