Energy-Efficient Multi-UAVs Deployment and Movement for Emergency Response

Summary: This letter investigates the energy efficient deployment and emergency response movement of UAVs in a multi-UAVs enabled wireless communication system. The optimization of UAV positions, user association, and transmit power of ground users is studied for maximizing energy efficiency, as well as the energy cost of UAV movement when one UAV leaves. The proposed alternating algorithm using the successive convex approximation (SCA) technique demonstrates superior performance compared to benchmarks.

Cooperative Localization of 3D Mobile Networks via Relative Distance and Velocity Measurement
