The use of a delirium escape room as a teaching modality effectively applies didactic knowledge to clinical practice. Positive feedback was received from all participating nurses, regardless of their experience level. This team building activity facilitated discussions about real-life patients with delirium, allowing participants to connect contributing factors to their own patients. Effective communication, coordination, and collaboration were key to the successful escape. Participants appreciated and enjoyed this hands-on learning activity, making it a memorable experience.
