Immunotoxic effects of force-fed ethephon on model organism Galleria mellonella (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)

Results showed that E. coli infection increased cell damage indicators and caused oxidative stress, but the organism responded by regulating energy metabolism and increasing levels of antioxidants to reduce oxidative damage.
