Summary: This study examined the psychometric properties of translated pain questionnaires in Mongolia and compared characteristics of patients seeking chronic pain treatment in Mongolia and New Zealand. Results showed that translated questionnaires had good internal consistencies, and there were similarities in relationships between pain variables in both groups. The findings suggest that some pain outcome measures may be suitable for low- and middle-income countries, including Mongolia.
