Synthesis and electrochemical properties of Mn-substituted high-capacity nickel hydroxide

Summary: Nickel hydroxide is widely used as cathode materials in nickel-metal secondary batteries. In this study, Mn-substituted nickel hydroxide samples with a special alpha/beta mixed phase structure were synthesized. The physical properties and electrochemical performances of the samples were characterized. The results showed that the Mn-substituted samples with a alpha/beta mixed phase structure exhibited higher discharge capacity and maintained high structure stability.

Hydrothermally synthesized microrods and microballs of NiCo2O 4 for supercapacitor application

Summary: The microrods and microballs of NiCo2O4 were successfully synthesized using the hydrothermal method, and the effect of different reagents on their surface microstructure was observed. Various analytical tools were used to analyze the prepared microrods and microballs, and their electrochemical properties were studied.
