Summary: In this study, a novel high-efficiency double Z-type nano-photocatalyst (VO-UCN@CCO) was developed by encapsulating spinel CuCo2O4 into V2O5-decorated ultra-wrinkled graphitic carbon-nitride for the first time. The photocatalyst showed excellent performance in the photodisintegration of levofloxacin antibiotic under visible-light irradiation, with 40% loading of CCO displaying the maximum photocatalytic activity. The composite exhibited high efficiency, reusability, and achieved complete mineralization of levofloxacin after 300 minutes of reaction.

Morphology Control in 2D Carbon Nitrides: Impact of Particle Size on Optoelectronic Properties and Photocatalysis
