Chemical Composition and Antimicrobial Activity of Essential Oils from the Leaves and Stems of Tinomiscium petiolare Hook.f. & Thomson from Vietnam

Summary: Essential oils were extracted from the leaves and stems of Tinomiscium petiolare and their chemical components were analyzed. The oils displayed moderate antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and inhibited the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This study reports the chemical components and antimicrobial activity of the leaf and stem oils of T. petiolare for the first time.
