Lipids of Amaranthus retroflexus and their Biological Activity

Summary: The study investigated the lipid compositions and squalene contents in seeds and aerial parts of Amaranthus retroflexus for the first time. It was found that squalene in the seeds could reduce salt stress, while neutral lipids did not exhibit a protective effect.
