Modeling the Conductivity Response to NO2 Gas of Films Based on MWCNT Networks

Ada Fort et al.

Summary: This study proposes a model to describe the dynamic behavior of sensing films based on functionalized MWCNT networks when exposed to time-variable concentrations of NO2 and operating with variable working temperatures. The model was validated through experiments and successfully used for further analysis of MWCNT sensing under dynamic conditions.

Investigation on the Printed CNT-Film-Based Electrochemical Sensor for Detection of Liquid Chemicals

Jaeha Noh et al.

Summary: This study focused on electrochemical sensors made using printed carbon nanotubes (CNT) film on a polyethylene telephtalate (PET) substrate. The mechanical stability of the printed CNT film (PCF) was confirmed through bending and Scotch tape tests. By comparing resistance-type and comb-type PCF sensors, it was found that the comb-type sensor displayed superior performance in terms of response magnitude, time, sensitivity, linearity, and limit of detection (LOD). Additionally, the feasibility of the PCF sensor for detecting hazardous and noxious substances (HNS) was investigated, along with discussions on its detection mechanism and selectivity.
