Graphite fluoride as a new oxidizer to construct nano-Al based reactive material and its combustion performance

Jun Wang et al.

Summary: The study introduced graphite fluoride as a new fluorine-containing oxidizer to construct nano-Al based reactive materials, exhibiting higher energy output and exothermic peak compared to nano-Al/PTFE. The effects of mass ratio and packing density on burning rates were significant. Nano-Al/CF showed excellent burning rate and flame propagation behavior, indicating potential applications in propellants, explosives, and pyrotechnics.
