Influence of Ag incorporation on the structural, optical and electrical properties of ITO/Ag/ITO multilayers for inorganic all-solid-state electrochromic devices

Hongli Wang et al.

Summary: By inserting a thin layer of silver (Ag) with various thicknesses between two layers of ITO films, the IAI multilayer structures demonstrates the best combination of electrical and optical properties, with an optimized figure of merit of 54.05 when the Ag film is 10 nm thick. The IAI multilayer structure is considered as a promising alternative to ITO thin film for inorganic all-solid state electrochromic applications.

All-solid-state electrochromic Li-ion hybrid supercapacitors for intelligent and wide-temperature energy storage

Lei Liu et al.

Summary: The newly proposed electrochromic Li-ions hybrid supercapacitors have interconnected microstructures and multipores, demonstrating remarkable electrochromic and energy storage performances. When paired with a transparent WO3 electrochromic capacitor-type negative electrode, an all-solid-state ELHS with impressive energy/power density and capacity retention is achieved, even at varying temperatures.
