Hydrogen absorption and diffusion behaviors in cube-shaped palladium nanoparticles revealed by ambient-pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

Jiayi Tang et al.

Summary: The absorption and diffusion of hydrogen in cube-shaped palladium nanoparticles were investigated using AP-XPS and DFT calculations. The study found a size dependence in the subsurface hydrogen absorption and proposed a model for the interaction between hydrogen and palladium nanoparticles.

Adsorption of atomic hydrogen on monolayer MoS2

Huimin Hu et al.

Summary: This study systematically investigates the adsorption properties of atomic hydrogen on monolayer MoS2, revealing that the S-top site is the most energetically preferred. The tilting of the S-H bond and the effects of spin-polarization play significant roles in determining the adsorption energies and configurations.
