Summary: By increasing the proportion of oxygen vacancies in CoAl LDHs through NaBH4 treatment, the electrochemical energy storage performance was improved. The acquired CoAl LDHs-0.5 demonstrated excellent performance at high current densities and was utilized to fabricate an asymmetric supercapacitor with superior energy density compared to other materials.
