Sex-specific associations of habitual intake of soy protein and isoflavones with risk of type 2 diabetes

Summary: This study showed that the intake of soy protein and isoflavones was inversely associated with type 2 diabetes risk in women but not in men. There were significant differences in associations between soy protein and isoflavones intake and type 2 diabetes risk by gender.
