Hand hygiene feedback impacts compliance

Lauren Fish et al.

Summary: This study found that individual hand hygiene (HH) compliance was highest in both private and public feedback mechanisms. While the private group had higher compliance rates initially, they decreased during the team feedback phase, while the public feedback group saw an increase. Physicians in the private group showed a decrease in compliance during the individual phase.
