Supporting strategies for enhancing vegetable liking in the early years of life: an umbrella review of systematic reviews

Lucinda K. Bell et al.

Summary: The study synthesized systematic reviews to determine strategies to facilitate young children's liking of vegetables. Promising evidence was found for repeated exposure to a variety of vegetables, while emerging evidence showed strategies such as increasing familiarity with vegetable flavors and willingness to try vegetables through various approaches. Ongoing research is needed to strengthen the evidence base for parents and health professionals.
