Size and shape of plates and size of wine glasses and bottles: impact on self-serving of food and alcohol

Natasha Clarke et al.

Summary: The studies showed that smaller tableware (plates and wine glasses) decreases the amount of food and wine self-served in an initial serving. However, the shape of plates did not have a significant impact on the amount of food self-served, and the size of wine bottles did not have a main effect on the amount of wine poured.
