Mobility Enhancement in P-Type SnO Thin-Film Transistors via Ni Incorporation by Co-Sputtering

Shu-Ming Hsu et al.

Summary: This study investigates the deposition of p-type SnOx:Ni thin films using reactive rf magnetron co-sputtering and the effect of Ni distribution on the crystalline phase of SnOx:Ni. A high-mobility p-type SnOx:Ni TFT was fabricated with impressive performance, comparable to that of n-type oxide TFT. The results contribute to the development of flexible oxide-TFT-based CMOS technology.

Metal halide perovskite toxicity effects on Arabidopsis thaliana plants are caused by iodide ions

Eline M. Hutter et al.

Summary: This study tested the toxicity of perovskite in Arabidopsis thaliana plants and found that iodide ions, rather than lead, were responsible for the toxicity at low concentrations of perovskite. The results of this study are important for further understanding and predicting the harmful effects of iodide-containing perovskites in the environment.

2D Carrier Localization at the Wurtzite-Zincblende Interface in Novel Layered InP Nanomembranes

Zhicheng Su et al.

Summary: This study provides a deeper insight into the carrier dynamics in novel layered InP nanomembranes with large area of atomically sharp WZ-ZB interface. It observes two types of type II transitions, demonstrates strong two-dimensional carrier localization effect in the flat type II interface at low temperatures, and highlights the quenching of type II transitions due to thermal transfer of carriers to ZB conduction band. Additionally, interesting novel emission polarization behaviors of different transitions in this InP nanomembrane are also identified.
