Novel pH-responsive self-healing anti-corrosion coating with high barrier and corrosion inhibitor loading based on reduced graphene oxide loaded zeolite imidazole framework

Salt spray test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy results reveal that the RGO@ZIF@SiO2/EP (0.7%) sample exhibits the best corrosion protection performance.

The addition of zinc metal cations to the OMWCNT-PANI nanocomposite resulted in a smart self-healing anti-corrosion system with improved resistance.
