Fungal diversity notes 1387-1511: taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions on genera and species of fungal taxa

Anacraspedodidymum submersum sp. nov. (Chaetosphaeriaceae, Chaetosphaeriales), a new species of freshwater hyphomycetes from southwest China

Summary: A new species, Anacraspedodidymum submersum, was isolated during a mycological survey in southwest China, characterized by unique conidiogenous cells and conidia. Phylogenetic analysis showed that it clustered with Thozetella in Chaetosphaeriaceae. This study provides a full description, illustrations, and a phylogenetic tree for A. submersum.

Two novel species and two new records of Distoseptispora from freshwater habitats in China and Thailand

Summary: Four Distoseptispora taxa were collected from China and Thailand during investigations into freshwater fungi from the Great Mekong Subregion. Two new species were introduced based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analyses, while two known species were reported for the first time in freshwater habitat. Additions to Distoseptispora (Distoseptisporaceae) associated with submerged decaying wood in China
