An efficient partial randomized response model for estimating a rare sensitive attribute using Poisson distribution

Ghulam Narjis et al.

Summary: A new partial randomized response technique model using the Poisson distribution to estimate the mean of the number of persons possessing a rare sensitive attribute is proposed in this article. The properties of the proposed partial RRT model are studied, and its utility under stratification is explored. Efficiency comparison between the proposed partial RRT model is conducted numerically under simple and stratified random sampling.
