The histone H3-lysine 4-methyltransferase Mll4 regulates the development of growth hormone-releasing hormone-producing neurons in the mouse hypothalamus

Christian Huisman et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates that Mll4 gene regulates dwarfism phenotype and GHRH-neuron development in mice, with its deficiency affecting the histone marks of active transcription. The findings suggest that Mll4-directed epigenetic control of transcription plays a crucial role in the development of GHRH-neurons and dwarfism in mice.
