Measurement properties of the Physical Literacy Assessment for Youth (PLAY) Tools

Hilary A. Caldwell et al.

Summary: This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the PLAY Tools, including inter-rater reliability, internal consistency, validity, and associations between the tools. The results showed strong inter-rater reliability, moderate associations between the tools, acceptable internal consistency, and good construct and convergent validity in school-age children. These findings suggest that the PLAY Tools are an acceptable method for evaluating physical literacy in school-age children.
