Integrating solar energy with agriculture: Industry perspectives on the market, community, and socio-political dimensions of agrivoltaics

Summary: Agrivoltaics, the combination of solar photovoltaics and agriculture, has the potential to increase local support for solar development by retaining agricultural interests, particularly in regions where development may threaten agriculture. Participants in the study expect agrivoltaics to play a key role in future solar endeavors by enhancing community acceptance and addressing various dimensions of social acceptance.
