Rasch analysis highlighted relative importance of walking and transferring disabilities among elderly in developing countries

Summary: This study utilized Rasch analysis to examine hierarchical patterns of progression in activities of daily living disabilities among older adults in developing countries, finding walking to be the most difficult item while eating and dressing were perceived as easier. Sequences of disabilities were most compact in China, Mexico, and India.
