The COVID-19 pandemic: The mitigating role of government and hotel support of hotel employees in Egypt

Summary: This study examined the impact of government support for hotels on employee support, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment during the COVID-19 pandemic in Egypt. Results revealed a positive effect of government support on organizational justice, whereas hotel ethical climate had a negative impact on the association between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the relationship between hotel support for employees and organizational commitment.
