Social media and empowerment in hospitality and tourism decision-making: A study among UK Muslim women

Summary: This paper examines the influence of social media and consumption decisions on Muslim women's hospitality and tourism decision-making. The findings reveal a positive relationship between autonomous self-expression, self-disclosure, reciprocity to self-disclosure on Facebook and bonding and bridging social capital, which in turn is positively related to empowerment in hospitality and tourism decision-making for Muslim women.
