Visual versus Text Attribute Representation in Choice Experiments

Summary: This study examines the impact of attribute representation format on willingness to pay and serial stated attribute non-attendance in choice experiments. The results show that more attributes were significant in the Text Treatment than in the Visual Treatment, and attribute WTP was higher in the Text Treatment. Therefore, attribute representation format should be considered when designing choice experiments.
