A stable biosensor for organophosphorus pesticide detection based on chitosan modified graphene

Jianhua Zhang et al.

Summary: An AChE biosensor with stable structure and high detection accuracy was successfully fabricated by modifying graphene nanofragments with chitosan and AChE using a layer-by-layer assembly method. The sensor had a detection range of 0.1-100,000 nM for dichlorvos with a limit of detection at 54 pM. The mechanical flexibility of the graphene nanostructures was enhanced by using chitosan for the first time, significantly improving the stability and detection accuracy of the sensor.
