Ultrafine MoP Nanoparticle Splotched Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanosheets Enabling High-Performance 3D-Printed Potassium-Ion Hybrid Capacitors

Wei Zong et al.

Summary: In this study, a series of MoP nanoparticle splotched nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets (MoP@NC) were successfully synthesized, where MoP was uniformly confined in a 3D porous NC to form ultrafine nanoparticles facilitating ionic binding and storage. MoP@NC-1 demonstrated excellent performance and cycling stability, and was used as a highly electroactive additive in 3D printing ink to fabricate high-performance 3D-printed potassium-ion hybrid capacitors.

Two-dimensional N/O co-doped porous turbostratic carbon nanomeshes with expanded interlayer spacing as host material for potassium/lithium half/full batteries

Dongyang Qu et al.

Summary: High-yield N/O co-doped porous turbostratic carbon nanomeshes with large interlayer spacing and abundant edge defects were synthesized using a copolymerization and carbonization strategy. The optimized nanomesh showed remarkable electrochemical performance as an anode material in potassium-ion and lithium-ion batteries, with reversible ion insertion and extraction processes. The excellent performance was attributed to the synergistic contributions of defects and reactive sites induced by N/O co-doping.
