Acceptability of no-test medical abortion provided via telemedicine during Covid-19: analysis of patient-reported outcomes

Summary: The study found that patients had high confidence in telemedicine EMA and were satisfied with the convenience, privacy, and ease of managing abortion at home. The sample surveyed was representative of the whole population receiving telemedicine, with the majority of patients preferring the telemedicine pathway and indicating they would choose it again if COVID-19 was no longer a factor. This evidence supports the case for making telemedicine EMA a permanent option.
