Analysis and Simulation of SIRS Model for Dengue Fever Transmission in South Sulawesi, Indonesia

Wahidah Sanusi et al.

Summary: The study aimed to build and analyze an SIRS model for predicting the number of dengue fever cases in South Sulawesi, using simulation techniques. The results showed that South Sulawesi is currently in the endemic stage of dengue fever transmission, based on the basic reproduction number R-0 being greater than 1. Simulation of the SIRS model can help predict and prevent the number of dengue fever cases, providing valuable recommendations for the government.

Local and Global Stability Analysis of Dengue Disease with Vaccination and Optimal Control

Anusit Chamnan et al.

Summary: This research explores optimal control strategies for dengue fever vaccination only in individuals with prior dengue infections (seropositive), resulting in a significant reduction in the number of infected humans and vectors. The analysis of dengue transmission model establishes local asymptotic stabilities and highlights the importance of symmetry in achieving global asymptotic stabilities through Lyapunov function.

Dynamical Analysis and Optimal Control for a SEIR Model Based on Virus Mutation in WSNs

Guiyun Liu et al.

Summary: This paper establishes an SEIR propagation model based on the principle of epidemic dynamics and analyzes the basic reproduction number, local stability, and global stability of the system. By using optimal control strategy, the spread of virus in WSNs is effectively controlled and the total cost is minimized.

Optimal Control of Dengue Transmission with Vaccination

Anusit Chamnan et al.

Summary: Dengue disease, caused by four serotypes of the dengue virus, is targeted by the CYD-TDV vaccine currently used in Thailand. This research focuses on determining optimal control measures when only individuals with a history of past dengue infection are vaccinated.
