Hydrothermal analysis on non-Newtonian nanofluid flow of blood through porous vessels

S. Hosseinzadeh et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the flow of non-Newtonian blood fluid with nanoparticles inside a vessel with a porous wall in the presence of a magnetic field. Various parameters such as magnetic field and porosity are studied to analyze their effects on velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles. Three different viscosity models are employed for innovation. The governing equations are solved using Akbari-Ganji's Method (AGM) analytical method, and the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used for better representation. The results demonstrate that the increase in Gr number, porosity, and negative pressure leads to higher blood velocity, while an increase in magnetic field intensity decreases the blood velocity.
