Reinforcement Learning Control of a Flexible Two-Link Manipulator: An Experimental Investigation

Wei He et al.

Summary: This article discusses the control design and experiment validation of a flexible two-link manipulator system represented by ordinary differential equations, introducing a reinforcement learning control strategy based on actor-critic structure. The closed-loop system with the proposed control algorithm is proven to be semi-global uniform ultimate bounded by Lyapunov's direct method. Simulation and experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the control approach in vibration suppression and trajectory tracking.

Boundary Output Feedback Control for a Flexible Two-Link Manipulator System With High-Gain Observers

Shuang Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on boundary output feedback control for a flexible two-link manipulator system with input saturation. Controllers such as BOFCs, high-gain observers, and auxiliary systems are proposed to address control issues, with the stability of the system proven through mathematical analysis and simulation results confirming the effectiveness of the controllers.

Robust Output Feedback Control of Single-Link Flexible-Joint Robot Manipulator with Matched Disturbances Using High Gain Observer

Hameed Ullah et al.

Summary: This article discusses the output feedback control of single-link flexible-joint robot manipulators to address the stabilization problem of angular position. A robust control technique is designed for the SFJRM system using sliding mode control and high-gain observer. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the control technique under uncertain SFJRM models and matched perturbations.

Modeling and trajectory tracking control for flapping-wing micro aerial vehicles

Wei He et al.

Summary: This paper studies the trajectory tracking problem of flapping-wing micro aerial vehicles in the longitudinal plane and proposes an adaptive control scheme to achieve autonomous flight. By designing position and attitude controllers, the effectiveness of the control scheme is discussed and verified through simulations.
