Epidemiology of Toxoplasmosis in SERBIA: A Cross-Sectional Study on Blood Donors

Summary: This study conducted in Serbia showed the lowest prevalence of toxoplasmosis ever reported in the general population. Age, living in suburban areas, and contact with soil were identified as independent risk factors for the infection.

Summary: A study in three towns in Ethiopia found high seroprevalence of T. gondii and Leishmania spp. in dogs, with 82.58% of the dogs testing positive for both parasites. Adult dogs had a significantly higher risk of T. gondii infection compared to juvenile dogs.
