Operational TBE incidence forecasts for Austria, Germany, and Switzerland 2019-2021

Franz Rubel et al.

Summary: In this study, forecasts of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) incidences for the next two years were made using negative binomial regression models, with the European beech fructification index identified as the key predictor. The results suggest a possible decrease in TBE cases in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland in the coming years.
