Efficient kinetic resolution of para-chlorostyrene oxide at elevated concentration by Solanum lycopersicum epoxide hydrolase in the presence of Tween-20

Zheng Wen et al.

Summary: A putative Solanum lycopersicum epoxide hydrolase, SlEH2, was discovered and successfully expressed in E. coli based on computer-aided analysis. The E. coli transformant expressing SIEH2 demonstrated high activity and enantiomeric selectivity, allowing for successful substrate resolution under specific conditions.
